Hire FAQs

What identification do I need to bring?
To hire equipment for the first time, please bring a valid form of ID with your name and current address, such as a Driving Licence or a utility bill.
Do I need to book in advance?
For standard session hires, walk-ins are welcome. For Long-Term Hire, we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance to ensure your specific manual or powered model is available.
How does the security deposit work?
A refundable security deposit is required for all extended hires. This is returned in full once the equipment is returned to our shop in its original condition.
Can I have the equipment delivered?
Yes β€” we offer a local pick-up and return service for long-term hire customers in Caterham and surrounding areas. Please call us on 01883 420286 to arrange.
